A clock you can read from across the room

This online digital clock shows your device's local time with hours, minutes and seconds, along with today's date, the weekday and your time zone. The digits scale with the window, so it works just as well on a phone on your desk as on a large monitor or a TV.

How to use it

  1. Open the page. The clock starts straight away, using your device's time.
  2. Choose 12-hour or 24-hour time.
  3. Under Customize, pick a style, font, size and colors. Your choices are saved in this browser.
  4. Press Fullscreen, and turn on Keep screen awake if you want the display to stay on.

Ideas for using it

  • Bedside clock: use the Pure Dark style in fullscreen, with the date hidden, for a dim night display.
  • Classroom or meeting room: connect a laptop to a projector and use the Standard or LED style so everyone can see how much time is left.
  • Desk clock: put an old tablet to use with the Retro or Classic style.

If you prefer a traditional dial, try the analog clock. For a retro look, there is a flip clock, and you can check other cities on the world clock.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the time come from?

From your device's system clock, which your operating system normally keeps in sync. If your device's time is wrong, this clock will show the same wrong time.

Why does the screen still turn off?

Turn on Keep screen awake. It uses the browser's Screen Wake Lock, which is supported in current browsers but can be refused, for example when battery saver is on.

Are my settings saved?

Yes, in your browser's local storage on this device. They are not sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data resets them.

Can I show 24-hour time?

Yes. Use the 12-hour and 24-hour switch below the clock. Until you choose, the clock follows the convention of your selected language.
