This policy explains what information oClock handles. It applies to this website and its embeddable clocks.
Information stored on your device
Your preferences, alarms, timers, countdowns, world clock cities and Pomodoro statistics are saved in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser's data for this site.
Your language preference is stored in a cookie named NEXT_LOCALE, so that the site can open in the language you chose.
Countdown links
If you create a share link for a countdown, the event name and date are part of the link. Anyone who has the link can see them, so avoid including anything private.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses and request details in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled on the site, we use Google AdSense. Where consent is required, or if you are shown a consent choice, the advertising script is not loaded unless you accept. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads, and to personalize them if you consent. You can learn more on Google's "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page, and change your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Optional browser permissions
Desktop notifications and screen wake lock are requested only when you turn them on. They are handled by your browser, and nothing about them is sent to us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data, such as access, correction, deletion and objection. Because we do not keep accounts, most data is on your own device, under your control. For anything else, please contact us.
Children
The site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes, and will publish the new version on this page.
